To measure your object, start measuring from the left and move to the right side of the object.
Step1: Initialize the ruler with tap the "Clear Button"[1] Step 2: Put your left-end side of the ruler screen to the left-most end side of the object to measure.
Step 3: Put the "Needle"[3] to point at the initial position of 2.50 inches or move to the right-most side of the screen.
Step 4: Put your index finger to the needle point position.
Step 5: Move the left-end side of the screen of the ruler to match your index finger.
Step 6: Tap the "Plus Button"[2] to set base position to moved location. Keep repeating step 4,5 and 6 again until the very right-end of the object is located inside the screen.
If the end of object is located within the iPhone or iPod touch screen, then move the "Needle"[3] to the right end-point of the object, and read the number panel for the measurement.  Buttons There are 5 buttons and one needle. This is a clear button to reset ruler.[1]  This button can change the ruler direction.
 This button allows the "cm" and "inch" sides of the ruler to alternate.  This button can measure up till the chosen measurement point, and keep adding this same measurement amount from that chosen point(of the current screen), to the needle point(or until the end point of the object.)[2]  This button is also an exit button.  This is a needle to where the number points.[3]  |
